Summer holidays at the preHistorisch Dorp
Celebrate your summer holiedays at the preHistorisch Dorp in Eindhoven! From July 6th to September 1st, you will experience what life was like in the past. Every day offers different activities and there's plenty to explore in the museum.
Historical activities
At the preHistorisch Dorp, there's a lot to experience during the summer holidays. The summer activities with our historical inhabitants vary daily. For example:
- Light a fire like a Viking
- Canoe like a hunter
- Write like a medieval monk
- Hunt prehistoric prey with a spear
- Shoot arrows like Robin Hood
- Bake bread over the fire
- And much more!
Daily puppet shows
Every day, there are puppet shows at 12:00 and 16:00, filled with laughter and fun! Our historical inhabitants put on an unforgettable show full of humor. The hand-painted puppet theater is located at the medieval market square: take a seat on the benches and enjoy!
Note: the shows are in Dutch, but are nevertheless highly entertaining for kids.
